The Friends of the New Bedford Free Public Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on a variety of funding from the community to keep it alive and thriving. This support enables us to preserve and share our world-class permanent art and geneology collections as well as develop special programs for teens, taking the Bookmobile to inner-city children, host visiting authors, and many other activities for the community.
